andrell's gifts
the sin magics
Whereas Aleha's magics were created from the pure elements of the land as well as from her own night sky, Andrell put his own spin on her idea. Since he had already created Sin and was barred from touching any of the five elements she'd already claimed, he decided to go with what he knew. But those alone weren't enough, so he once again borrowed from someone, but this time it was his mother. And, shockingly enough, he did get her permission. So his sin magics became chaos, sound, nature, metal and light.
Because they were created from a Sin base and not the pure elements that Aleha used (and no, Light doesn't count because it was something Andrell made more in honor of his own Sun throne than light itself) these magics are much more unstable and unpredictable than Andrell could imagine. It's not as if they're a time bomb waiting to happen inside of the Mitoa, but there's no telling their dependability or long-term effects on the humans they join with or the very fabric he pulled the sin magics from.
