That depends on what you want their primary purpose to be, so pay attention
because this will answer your question and then some.
If your character is primarily a...
Weapon: think big.
Bears, wolves, giant boars, large cats (great examples here).
If you aren't sure an idea will work, just run it by me on the board.
Scout: think cunning.
Birds of prey are at the top of the list. If you aren't sure, again just
ask me on the board.
Tracker: think senses.
Fox, mountain dog, wild cats like lynxes. Any medium sized animal with an
amazing heightened sense of smell, sight, etc. Again, questions?
Come to the board and we'll see if your idea works.
Other: if you have a completely original idea for an animal that
doesn't fall into one of these categories please run it by me before applying.
Animals you shouldn't consider are...
Fish, snakes, insects, elephants, arachnids, house cats, house dogs, horses,
farm animals in general. The list goes on but I think you have a very good
idea now of what we are and aren't looking for.
